  • Bacchanal is THE buffet that you want to visit on your trip to Vegas. At ~$55/pp for dinner, you should expect a large selection of high quality food. This place does not disappoint. Bacchanal utilizes a queue system called FreshTXT which allows you to enter your name and phone number at a kiosk. You'll receive an *estimated* time to return to the host for entry. Just a tip, make sure you keep your phone on vibrate so that you know when the text comes in. Our estimated wait time was about an hour at 9pm on a Sunday, but the text came after only 15 minutes, which was awesome, but I didn't hear it or check my phone until about 30 min later. Once you return to the host the get checked in though, be prepared to wait in line to get to the cashier, then waiting in another line to be seated... It was still probably a 45 minute wait after returning to the host. Ok, that's it here - just bring a drink into the line with you and you're good. The food. Oh, the food. It's generally separated into sections based on region/style. You've got your Chinese, Italian, and Mexican sections, along with an epic seafood selection. Also, the snow crab legs - don't miss them as they were near the Italian area rather than the seafood, which I thought was strange. The quality of the food was top-notch. Really. It far surpassed my expectations. Everything was freshly prepared and each time I went back to get more food, a fresh platter had been set out recently. I think the high volume of people that flow through necessitates constant cooking, which is great. Finally, I know that it's probably going to be hard to do with all of the delicious food in front of you, but you need to save room for dessert. Apple pie, key lime pie, cheesecake, fresh and decadent fudge, tiramisu, chocolate "lava" cake, the list goes on. That's probably a quarter of what I put on my plate. Again, if you're looking for a Vegas buffet, try Bacchanal and you'll have a great experience. Make sure you have your free Total Rewards gaming card with you as it saves a bit on the cost (5-10%). Also, just so you're aware up front, all major buffets in Vegas seem to follow the pre-tipping concept where you have the option of leaving a tip when pay for the buffet before you enter and receive any service. I suppose you could always leave cash on the table that is commensurate with the service received, but if you're paying with a card and want to leave a tip, you'll do it up front. Enjoy!
