What: Pediatric dentist. We love Dr. Bybee and have been going there almost 2 years. He is SUPER nice, friendly and gentle with the kids. He also doesn't push braces, which I appreciate. IMHO, braces should be when all your adult teeth are in. I had braces at 15yo and think its ridiculous how some dentists are bushing braces on 3rd graders. He does not does not do this.
Ambiance: Super cute office decorated for kids in a surfer/beach theme throughout and each room has super heroes. They have Disney movies playing so when your kid is getting their teeth cleaned, they can watch and be distracted. The waiting room also has a convenient bathroom and fun area for kids to wait. Although we have never waited long at all (5 minutes?)
Service: I think the ladies at the front desk are a little curmudgeonly, it would be nice if they could smile more and be more happy/friendly. The office is very accommodating and affordable. We are in between dental insurance and currently did not have insurance for a cleaning, so the exam and cleaning was only $85, and we skipped the x-ray and fluoride treatment for another time. Both Paula and Toni are good hygienists, but don't seem particularly engaging with kids.
