| - Let me start out by saying I've owned so many cars that I should be in vehicle rehab and I've death with car dealers in a lot of states, and several in Phoenix. BMW North Scottsdale has been the best experience, hands down, yet.
I contacted BMW North Scottsdale a few months ago after moving from Denver and wanting to dump a new Wrangler and get into something a little more sexy to enjoy the sunshine in. After being soul-deadening bored at work I started searching Certified BMW's and used sports cars on their website. I initially found a Nissan 370Z NISMO that I wanted to drive. I was a bit hesitant driving to a BMW dealership in Scottsdale that is surrounded by Porsche and Ferrari's as I'm not 'rolling deep' like I assumed a lot of their clientele was. Nerves were settled immediately.
There are 3 people that I have dealt with at BMW North Scottsdale that have provided the best customer service that I have ever experience. Cynthia Gutierrez, Don Wilson and Ron Davis. Hands down 100% professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Cynthia met me at the dealership on my lunch break and knew I was needing to do this in a pinch and get back to work. She was very polite and energetic and the one reason I ended up purchasing from her was that she was not pushy. If you are like me and cringe at the thought of talking to a car salesperson, go to this place. They don't push, they take their time, and they treat you the same they would treat Donald Trump if he walked in. I drove the Nissan and was undecided. Cynthia gave me some details, her business card, a handshake and I was back at work.
I still wasn't sure so I stopped in after work and met with Don. Don came out to inform me that Cynthia was momentarily busy and Don took me out driving cars and helped me compare what I wanted and what was the best car for me. He never tried a sales pitch but instead provided me with ample details on the few cars I was interested in. Don was awesome. One of the best examples of customer service I've dealt with.
I met with Cynthia again a couple days later and we drove a 2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i with the sports and performance package. I fell in love with the car and had to buy it. Cynthia made the deal happen and she made it happen efficiently and easy. She was very thorough with going over the details of the car, the Certified Warranty, and all other questions that I had. By the time I met with finance she had the car pulled up out front, detailed and ready to go. She is also awesome!
I've been into service multiple times to get my car cleaned, a detail, a factory recall, and a new windshield. My service advisor is Ron Davis. Ron is 100% what you want in a service advisor. He's always made time for me and fit me in on my schedule. He has always been honest, accurate and addressed my concerns with my Z4 and helped explain some of the way the car functions as it's a new experience for me. The service department rocks. I'm a former Marine and these people are 'locked on'. Valet's meet you at the garage, get you in the right direction, hydrate you with bottles of water, get you a loaner and get you out the door without the least bit of stress. Best service department ever. I actually enjoy getting service done as crazy as that sounds.
What makes Cynthia, Don and Ron stand out is how they have represented not only BMW North Scottsdale but the BMW brand in general. Every time I come in I seem to run into Don and he always makes time to come over for handshake and take interest in how things are going. Cynthia the same. Follow up calls and continued customer service have made me a lifetime customer of BMW North Scottsdale. I've dealt with BMW in south Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin and although they have all been great, the experience I've had with this team here in Scottsdale has set the bar high and where it should be for BMW.
Kudos to this dealership and the employees. If you are in the market for a vehicle just give these guys a few minutes and they'll exceed your expectations. Thanks again for a great experience.
