  • I've been to the Workman's Friend twice now and I think it's a lovely place. I love what they have done with the interior. You can tell they spent a lot of time and money on making it look old yet refined. The ambiance is casual and there is a lot of seating. We went on a Saturday at 7 and got a table right away which was awesome! It's Irish, so the food is heavy... but it's also delightful. The slider app is the best thing on the menu (in my personal opinion). A friend had the shepard's pie and that looked like the best option. The cocktail list is a little pricey, but very good. I like their signature drink, the Workman's Friend, a lot! But it's a light pour and at $9/each I have to switch to beer for any subsequent drinks. The gin smash and Bloody Jimmy were delicious as well. Next time we're going to take advantage of that beautiful patio! For us this will definitely be a cocktail and appetizer go-to!
