  • K & J was contracted through First American Home Buyer Protection Corp, our Home Warranty...they came out and told us that they won't do any of our A/C work, becuase they think our home was being used for commercial purposes...which was not the cThen they hit you with a $75 service see, just because they can, without doing any work. I did some research and found out that it's actually more efficient for these companies to just take ur $75 for nothing then to actually repair ur problem. I'd avoid this company at all cost. Response to Owner's First Response: I understand the First Am's red tape prevented you guys from working on our A/C (although the home is used for residential purposes, not commercial), but I did not understand the $75 charge for being there for less then 5 min. I also understand First Am reimburses u guys so little on these claims, that is more lucrative for you guys to find reasons not to do the work, but instead charge people $75 and walk out. Maybe you guys shoud also also consider not working for First Am, if that involves taking advantage of people.
