| - This is my first time using a Lens Crafters. I chose them because the exam and a large part of the cost of my glasses is covered by my insurance.
If I could give them 10 stars I would. First, I called to make an appointment on Monday to have an eye exam at the Optometrist inside of Lens Crafter's, and they had an appointment for that Wednesday. The process to make an appointment was quick and easy. They took my email address and sent me the initial forms via email. I was able to fill them out in about 5 minutes and submit them on my phone!
When I got there they were quick to get me in, I didn't have to even sit down to wait to go to a room. The exam was extremely efficient and I was done in about a half hour.
After checking out with the optometrist, I was then immediately greeted by a Lens Crafters sales associate, Kyler. He had another client he was helping and he said he would be with me as soon as he could. I was still looking for glasses and his manager came over and helped me out. He even took all my initial information, looked up my insurance and took pictures of me in each pair of glasses I liked, all from his computer tablet he carried with us as we talked. Once Kyler was back to help me it was so nice all my information was already taken and I didn't have to reiterate it all again. Also I had fallen in love with some frames that were a little out of my price range. Kyler took the time to find another pair that were way more affordable and I ended up loving even more.
Once I decided on the frame, Kyler spent a good amount of time making sure they fit and looked perfect. He then told me that my lenses did have to be special ordered, and may take up to 10 days, because I wanted the glare resistant on plastic lenses (my insurance only covered the plastic lenses). They would send me a text message as soon as they were done. I was so happy that I was able to get exactly what I wanted for $70 after what my insurance covered, that it was worth the wait.
I then got a text message on that following Friday afternoon that my glasses were ready. I was beyond ecstatic that it only took two days! I rushed there and they were able to get me right. The lady that helped me again took the time to make sure they fit just perfect and were comfortable. Also, everyone I interacted with was super friendly and helpful. I don't think I could have had a better experience!
