Snotty, Rude, and Pompous - three words describing their inconsiderate staff.
We arrived 10 minutes late for our appointment (2 haircuts) and while they took me, they declined my girlfriend stating she was 15 minutes late. We understand the importance of being on time, which is why we were not upset about being "declined."
What we were upset about was how they handled it! They didn't bother to look for other openings with other stylists. They proceeded to condescendingly talk about how she was late and how it was my girlfriend's fault she couldn't get in for the appointment.
Then when my girlfriend came back to sit with me for my hair appointment, the receptionist proceeded to tell my stylist that we were late and asked if she could sit with me because she didn't make it to her appointment on time. My stylist rolled her eyes arrogantly and didn't say a word to her the entire time when I was in the back getting my hair washed.
Having worked in the customer service industry, I understand the importance of treating the customer with respect at all times - even if they're wrong, even if they're at fault.
They need to remember they're still trying to PLEASE the customer - the customer is not trying to please THEM. It's customer service, plain and simple... the most important part of running a service business.. and Dolce definitely LACKs!
My advice to Dolce:
Don't be snotty and rude - it creates an uncomfortable environment that nobody wants to return to.
