We were here for dinner last night. All 3 of us are vegetarians which we made sure to mention thrice before we ordered our food. One of the dishes we ordered was Peruvian potatoes. When our food arrived, the potatoes were the first thing I tried. Immediately, I sensed that it had pork or beef in it and asked if it had bacon. I almost threw up in my napkin because of the smell and the taste (if you're a meat-eater you'll not be able to understand). The waitress replied in the negative but then mentioned that it might be fried in the same oil used to fry animal products. She didn't understand how it mattered for vegetarians. Any average restaurant should know this let alone something that's located in Mandalay Bay. It seemed like amateur hour in restauranting (not an actual word). Pretty much all the dishes tasted like it had been cooked in the same oil though the waitress and the manager vehemently denied it. In most restaurants, a goof-up like this will get you a profuse apology but not in this one. My wife and I woke up to an upset stomach that had us taking turns to the bathroom. Eat here at your own risk!
