  • We waited in line for two hours outside in the summer heat this morning for MAC's free Lipstick promotion. It was stated on MAC's website that Macy's would be participating in the free lipstick promotion since they are a verified seller of MAC. The store manager came outside just minutes before the store opening, to inform the line of hundreds of customers that their location will not be giving away free lipstick. The manager proceeded to argue with the customers about not participating in the promotion despite MAC's website. It would have been much more professional to have posted a sign beforehand for the hundreds of customers to have read that the store was not participating. It also would have been more professional to have informed the line of customers sooner that they were not participating, as to not have hundreds of people waiting outside, sweating in the heat. I've never been more disappointed at the lack of professionalism displayed by this Macy's location.
