  • Very uncaring company, they just want your money and do not give even adequate service. They make mistake after mistake that you pay for at least in the hours it takes to get them corrected and they could care less. This store is horrible. I have had a long history of Cox not processing payments correctly. They repeated took money out of my account, unauthorized, when nothing was due, and after they looked at it and said they didn't know why it was happening and it would not happen again they took it out again. I was forced to do a stop payment to prevent them from continuing to do this. Mailing checks didn't work, they "lost" a check for 2-3 weeks then blamed it on the post office (I called BS as it mail only takes 1 day to get across town). So I am forced to go to the store to pay a bill. Repeatedly I tell them they must to a physical check, not an EFT. They protest, make a big fuss, but then do what I say and it works. Well last time, the rep decided he didn't want to bother. He told me they changed their processes and I had to use the kiosk. He gave me a big song and dance and assured me repeatedly the kiosk would not do an EFT. He went to ask the manager to talk to me then came back and said the manager was not there (after I saw them talking to each other). Then as he was putting the info into the kiosk he let slip he was just trying to get customers used to using the kiosk (e.g. he could have processed the check despite him saying repeatedly he could not). Well guess what, the kiosk did an EFT. Had to spend another couple of hours trying to get everything straightened out and they really didn't care about me, they just wanted me to give them the money (e.g. EFT over the phone). I had to ask several times to get them to undo the fees they had tacked onto the account for a returned check. Time to use other services, I long ago stopped using Cable (way to high for what you get) and do any tv watching on the internet. Time to get internet services elsewhere.
