I was staying at the hotel and visited the Spa at 2:30pm on a Wednesday after checking into my room. As best I could tell, there were only two other men visiting the spa during the time I was there, and maybe three or four women, so mid-day on a weekday seems nice in terms of privacy and space. As described in other reviews, the check-in process was very nice and included a thorough tour of all the facilities available for use. At no point was I rushed along as there was great focus on having the customer relax and enjoy.
I had an 80-minute Swedish massage which was terrific. My therapist asked several questions to focus the treatment on areas that I felt needed the most work (for example, I felt my neck and shoulders were very tight). She made me feel very comfortable throughout the treatment. At the conclusion of the massage, she gave me some suggestions for stretches that would help areas that were particularly tight or stressed.
After my massage I spent another 90 minutes or so enjoying the water facilities including the vitality pool (which has a terrific view), the steam room, and the experience showers. The experience showers were great for cooling down between the hot water treatment areas. At all times the staff in the male spa area maintained the area in a clean and neat manner, while not being obtrusive to guests.
Overall highly recommended!
