| - We've been in our Richmond Home for 18 months now. I cannot wait to get out of it. This is our SECOND Richmond home in 4 years, the first was pleasant and we still own it. The second...a nightmare. There are still construction flaws in the home, crooked floors, gaps between finishes, terrible workmanship. Now...I know that all of the work goes to subcontractors but if Richmond is putting their name on the ultimate final home, why does it seem like they don't care about the home? Our home care specialist, Kim, always had an issue, whether it's cell phone battery "dying" or no reception, she was not attentive and basically dropped the ball time after time. I send a text to ask about having the framing and carpet contractors come out again, asked when she could schedule them, never receive a response, and weeks later get a letter from the main office saying that I HAVE BEEN UNRESPONSIVE. Seriously? Ridiculous. Now, after the super pleasant first experience, they were about to create loyalty and happy customer, but they've done quite the opposite for us. Honestly, save yourself time, energy, heartache, and stress and look elsewhere.
