Absolute disappointment.
My wife and I are avid Indian Food Fans and when we found out that there was an Indian restaurant near our new house we got excited! We've missed Karma and Kabobeesh in Philly so much we were dying for some decent Indian.
We ordered 1 Chicken Tikka Masala (Indian hot), 1 Goat Kurma (Normal), 1 Rosemary Naan, 1 Garlic Naan, and 1 order of Samosa.
The Good: The Samosa's and the Naan was good.
The Bad:
Goat Kurma: Was mostly bone. There was very little goat meat on those bones. No heat or flavoring to the Goat, It tasted exactly like Patak's Spicy Sensations Fragrant Korma. Which we have at home.
Chicken Tikka Masala: Used the same sauce as the Goat Kurma. There was no heat at all. Very little chicken.
Cost: Expensive considering the lack of quality and quantity.
Take away, Save yourself the time and money and make it yourself, They are using canned sauces and charging a lot of money for small portions. There is an Indian Supermarket the next block over so you can get all the ingredients there, along with the same sauces and do it yourself. I'm sure there is better Indian Restaurants in the city.
