I have many high heels that are a little scuffed but in good condition besides the heel traction. The piece on the bottom of many of my stilettos has worn down so much there is no traction, just a metal piece that looks like the end of a screw. I noticed this repair shop near my nail salon and stopped in to check pricing. Pricing was great and I was told it included the heel repair and shining to "make them look like new". I checked reviews on Yelp which also seemed good so I brought in 3 pairs the next day. Ariel asked if I could leave the tote bag I brought my shoes in to keep them together. I obliged but stressed that I needed it back. I was also asked to pay up front and told it would take a week for the repairs. I came back a week later and my shoes were not shined but the stiletto was filed down. It seems he did not have a heel piece the same size as the heel of my shoe and filed them down to it would taper, as if I wouldn't notice. On top of it my tote bag was missing and he seemed very unapologetic. I got a "what do you expect? you want me to reimburse you? for your bag?". Needless to say I will not be returning.
