I liked this restaurant when it was '1947', and it was only a few blocks from my apartment and has a nice outdoor patio. They have a great bourbon & whiskey list and was my favorite place for cocktails. The food was yummy comfort-style/Southern food (my favorites were the mac & cheese loaded with short ribs or fried chicken and the pot pie). In the last year or so, the quality of the cocktails has gotten slightly worse (you can still order classics that aren't listed) and with it changing to 'The Elbow Room', it seems there's less of a food selection and trend towards your usual bar food. Definitely try it out and see for yourself.
