  • I wanted to get in with my friends for a bachelorette party. I never had a bad experience with jimmy d... until tonight. Well, apparently there is a dress code... I don't know why because the place smells like sweat and broken dreams plus it's filled with smoke. There is a dress code for guys which includes no boots? Keep in mind, that's stated nowhere on their website. We were in line getting our ID's checked and the bouncers (oh, the infamous bouncers) were yelling "boots, boots"! Everyone in line was confused but continued to go through. We all proceeded to go in except my friend who waited in line AND all of a sudden was told right in front of the door that he was not getting in because of his boots (WHICH WERE NOT TIMBERLANDS). Well why the heck didn't you pull him aside before hand? Instead they yelled boots for five minutes to thin air?? My friend of course was upset and asked why he wasn't personally informed and they began to harass him! There was 4 bouncers harassing my gay friend. After reading through the comments, I am not sure if this was all actually due to boots or because my friend is gay. DO NOT waste your time or money by coming to this place! Side note for JImmy D, I am sure you make a good profit but clearly you need to make a change in staff. Both your Google and Yelp account have horrible reviews, yikes. Unless they made some changes, I will never recommend.
