  • Amazing! Thank goodness for working at the Yelp booth to introduce me to the greatness of King city. I was so surprised when I saw piles and piles of people coming into this fest! It was packed - kids, adults, seniors.. and the best part- DOGS! Yes yes yes!!! The amount of dogs I've pet in one day made me soooo happy. The food trucks are dope!!! So many unique ones and even though I couldn't eat most of them due to non-vegan options (ps. shoutout to mustache burger for the veggie burger, you guys are perfection!), I still appreciated the extremity of it all- fullyloadedto had PIZZA AND MAC & CHEESE STUFFED WINGS?!?!?!?! Excuse me???? There were so many food trucks to choose from. You can literally get your appetizers, your entree's, a delicious drink, some donuts AND gelato within a few minutes. Down. So down. The beer is the best part! So many unique handcrafted beers that all had a distinct taste - lake wilcox and flying monkey are hands down my favourite. It's pretty cheap too.. $1 each for a sampler ticket. Let's just say, ya girl had a good time. And to top it all off, they had entertainment, which was really nice. I closed down the yelp booth and clocked out at 8pm but actually stayed till 10pm and enjoyed some beer on the grass while listening to a band that is totally not in my music taste region but definitely still enjoyed it. It's the entire atmosphere that gets ya, and I am a FAN! So weird though, po-po everywhere the entire day, watching people get wasted, but they had no ride checks leaving the place. Not complaining, just surprised.
