To be perfectly honest, we did not even get the chance to move into these horrific apartments. We took a tour MONTHS ago, and applied to be on the waitlist shortly after. This was is April, and they said to call back in May to see what was available. Not great costumer service, but whatever; we said we'd do so. In May, I called Station and asked if anything for when we wanted to move in at the end of June. The man I talked to said that there was an apartment available for move in June 26th. He gave us an apartment number and everything. I figured that that was the end of that; we'd pick up the keys June 26th and move in.
Two weeks later, my fiancee got a call from Station asking if he was still interested in leasing an apartment. He said that we'd already been given one, to which the woman on the phone said that there must have been a flaw in the system and that all was fine; we still had the apartment we had been given two weeks before.
Then, about a week ago, my fiancee got ANOTHER call from Station, asking if he was interested in leasing an apartment. When he said this was the second call he'd received like this, despite the fact that we'd already been promised a specific apartment. The woman said that under his name, there was nothing except the fact that he'd paid the waitlist fee. Under MY name, there was an apartment number-- however, the apartment I'd been promised WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE DATE I WAS GIVEN-- in fact, the people currently living there wouldn't even be leaving. The woman was not apologetic, despite the fact that it was 3 weeks before our supposed 'move in date'. My fiancee told the woman that if this was how they treated future residents, we would not be interested in living with them.
The ONLY good thing that came of this situation was the fact that we got the call 3 weeks before our lease ended at our current apartment and not 3 days before. If we hadn't, we'd be homeless at the end of June because of the horrible, inconsiderate people at Station on Central.
Don't even go inside the office. You're better off living under a rock.
