So interesting! I'd been here once before the renovation-it was kind of fun to creep through the smaller aisles in the old space. However, the renovation is really nice. There is a lot of Light and there is ample space to look over a wide variety of plants. My mom and I stopped in on Mother's Day weekend to check it out. It was lovely and warm inside the space and the staff working the floor was approachable and ready to answer questions and point customers in the right direction. I took one star off for the check out experience. While it was a busy flower weekend, the set up makes absolutely no sense. The registers are crowded behind a wide selection of gift items. There are three registers, and although the line snaked all the way to the back of the space, only two were open. The most concerning part of this is that there isn't any space or infrastructure to add more cashiers to handle high volume. After watching the line move extremely slowly, my mom and I decided to abandon our carts and leave (there was no easy way to get around the crowd to put things back). Fun fact- we came back about six hours later, and the cart was exactly where I'd left it-we were still able to get our things.
I think the new space is going to be very popular! I recommend working out traffic flow and high volume logistics planning, or you're going to lose out on serving more customers.
