Lured by an inexpensive Groupon for annual AC cleaning and inspection, I should have known you get what you pay for. After the 'service', the technicians told me I have $700 of absolutely necessary repairs, otherwise my unit would certainly fail within days or weeks. Something gave me a bad feeling about the techs and estimate.... I ended up calling another company, George Brazil, for a 2nd opinion to see if they assessed and advised the same repairs. Why was I not surprised that George Brazil said my unit looked great, and they found nothing wrong with the unit?
