  • Smashburger is a pretty standard burger joint, with some highlights. I created my own burger - a quarter pounder with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, grilled onions, and jalepenos - and it ended up being a solid burger. The meat was tasty, and the buns were nice and lightly browned. I also had the rosemary tossed fries, which were the highlight of the meal, in my opinion. They had a crispy exterior and a soft center - the way good fries ought to be. And I enjoyed the flavor of the rosemary with it. I've definitely had better burgers, but I'd come back to smashburger without having to think too hard about it.
