| - I love sushi, and it doesn't get better unless you're in Japan. I'm a fan of the elusive bluefin "otoro" sushi, which is next to impossible to find. Sushi Roku, which means sushi 6, after the 6 chefs that started it, has both the bluefin belly as well as the choice cuts from the rest of the fish. The bluefin (Nigiri or Sashimi) will set you back $24 for 4 pieces of the choice cut Hon Maguro or $38 for 4 pieces of the otoro belly. There's the master chef "Makuto San" who has a rotating staff of 5 assistants that he supervises. The master chef was born in Japan, and unlike most of the sushi chefs in Arizona, is actually Japanese and not Korean. They actually have REAL Kobe beef at Sushi Roku, which is also next to impossible to find. When ordering Kobe anything, please pronounce it "Ko Bay" not "Ko Bee" like a certain moron who's parents are too dumb to name their son properly. When ordering Sake, either Salmon or the drink, please pronounce it "Saw Kay" not "Saw Key," you will avoid sounding uneducated. Remember that the best Sake alcohol is served cold, not hot and comes in several different varieties as wine does, and has subtle changes that will please pallet. Please enjoy, it's a great place to eat.
