  • Wife and I are Big Batali and Bastianich fans. We recently went to Ramsay's "Burgr" and were less than impressed by the exaggerated pomp and pretentiousness So we decided to try a New Year's day snack at B&B. Wings were very good; nice spice tempered by a creamy blue cheese base. Jalapeno pesto burger was top notch. I loved the texture and complexity of the jalapeno pesto. Patty was cooked to a perfect juicy medium rare. Bun was soft and fresh. Bravo. Pastrami sandwich was solid. Fries were simple, tasty and ketchup right on. Great service from waitress Julianne (I hope I spelled it correctly - sorry if i didn't). Hostesses were pleasant and not pretentious. Worth the drive from Henderson for a nice burger lunch when not in the mood for In 'n Out or Five Guys. Nice job Mario and Joe. We'll be back.
