This review is ONLY for Absolute Flood's restoration, not for water remediation.
I contacted AFRC at the recommendation of the company that rerouted our hot water pipes after an under-slab leak. That company had cut three holes inside (through sheetrock) and three outside (through stucco). We asked AFRC for an estimate on patching these six holes, which varied in size from 10" x 12" to 18" x 18". The total square footage of stucco was 4sf and the total of sheetrock was 3.5sf. There is nothing unique or challenging about either area - easy access, no ladder needed except for one of the inside cutouts, which is in a ceiling that's about 7'.
AFRC's price was $1,300. As I have done some of this work before myself, I was shocked at the price and told them so, after which I called a handyman I've used before. He patched all six areas and repainted them using my paint. Total price: $250, which included a $50 tip since I believed I had totally scored.
I can't comment on AFRC's competence, but I found their prices so stunningly out of line that I will be sure not to use them on any future projects.
