| - I think this place is A-okay.
I walked in the shop today for the first time with my mom....who has taved about this place for a while.
The blonde lady working there was very kind...and told us to taste whatever we wanted, but that she recommended tasting the oil first, before the vinegar, so we dont blow our our taste buds.
Im more of a vinegar gal myself....but still tried quite a few oils. My favorites were the dill and garlic olive oils.
Moving onto the vinegars....some were great..others were okay, and some I wouldnt personally recommend. The lemon balsamic vinegar was super fresh...and made a DELICIOUS pairing with the dill olive oil.
The second vinegar that caught my eye was the serrano honey. Just the perfect amount of smokey sweet flavor.
The Cheyenne olive oil..
While tasty, it is very spicy...and that is really the only thing i tasted.
The vinegars that i wish i would have stayed away from where the vanilla, peach, and maple. They just (personally) tasted too sweet/artificial to me.
4 bottles (small size, around 7 ounces ) after tax was a little over $60.
Is this an amount that i would spend regularly on oil and vinegar?. ........No. but, ill be sure to try out new recipes with them...
Also, on your tenth visit (yes, visit, not bottle) i believe you get a complimentary bottle of vinegar or oil.
