I took my son in last night. He is 6 months old. I am absolutely appalled at one nurse in particular, but wasn't thrilled with the PA either.
Nora Lee is the rudest "healthcare professional" I have ever seen. She treated me, my 2 year old daughter and my son horribly. After we weighed my son I realized he had a dirty diaper so I took him into the room and told Nora Lee I was going to change his diaper and she said "NO! We take vitals first!!" I told her he needed to be changed promptly as it was leaking!! She said sternly "vitals first! Sooner we get vitals sooner we get results" her lack of proper English was already irritating me, but I listened to her and didn't change him.
She came back in the room with ibuprofen and didn't even ask if she could give it to him. Told my daughter to get out of her way and told me to lay My son down. I said "I just gave him Tylenol 1 hour ago" she said "this help fever go down faster!" Umm ok. I laid him down and was trying to get my daughter out of the way and she yelled at me "grab hands!!! Grab hands!!!!!" And I turned my head back towards my son, grabbed his hands quickly (I was startled) and she was squeezing his cheeks together so hard and shoving the medicine down his throat and he started crying and she wouldn't stop. He was choking on the medicine and I picked him up and he stars burping and coughing up the medicine and mucus and was trying to catch his breath. SHE IS THE RUDEST little Witch I've ever seen. She's lucky I didn't slap her. I will NEVER return again. Nora Lee needs to face consequences for her disgusting behavior toward my sick BABY! Don't work in this type of setting if you have no patience, and no heart, and can barely speak English. Very unprofessional.
I am changing my rating to two stars because the manager crystal called me personally and apologized and handled the situation very politely and said she will sit down and have a talk with this employee. Maybe I just had bad luck that day but at least the management seems to care and try to fix things when a patient is unhappy. So thank you Crystal.
