"Appointment:a fixed mutual agreement for a meeting; engagement". Sunday morning I called to ask about an oil change. Very friendly man asked if Monday would be better due to their busy schedule. I agreed and asked if the evening would be good, to which he replied yes. 4:35 I arrive for my 4:45 appointment. Keep in mind this is for an oil change. I ask about how long would it take, "about an hour maybe an hour and a half. No more than 2". I agreed and went over to Dunkin for some coffee. I sat outside and graded some of my students essays. An hour goes by. An hour and a half. I decide to go wait in the lobby. Finally the 2 hour mark. I then ask, "how much longer on the Nissan?" "Oh have they not called you? We have some recommendations for your car. Air filter and cabin filter". To which I said no thank you. Your company scheduled an appointment with me for 4:45 for an oil change. I was then told that it would not go beyond 2 hours. After my inquiry to see why it was taking so long, I discover that you neglected to contact me whilst I was in YOUR BUILDING! Furthermore, I sat for another 30 minutes while my car was in the parking lot because your priority is to people on the phone. Now I am just a teacher who has several degrees, none of which in business, but I would assume that the person in the building is a better sell because their wallet is right in your place of business. Compared to someone on the phone who may or may not choose to come and spend money at your establishment. I finally paid my 73 dollars for my 2 and a half hour oil change. I attempted to call your cooperate customer service line, but you were closed. I will no longer be a patron of your business, which according to my receipts has been upwards of 500 dollars. But hey, I am a small fish in a big pond and my absence will no doubt go unnoticed.
