  • I looked forward to trying this place but I must say I was disappointed for the amount of money you spend. I think everything is way overpriced and they are probably trying to make up for the high rent in this pricey area. The place was somewhat crowded on 1/10/13 but still plenty of tables available. When the host seated us he asked us for our last name which I thought was an odd thing to ask? The waitress appeared to be new as she fumbled over some of the menu items but she was polite and prompt. The first thing I didn't like was their offering of table water-- the emphasis on bottled water and no of course the water was not listed on the menu. We should have just asked for ice water which of course was not even offered. We got suckered into a bottle of spring water. We ordered a salad that was amazing, not sure the name but it had pistachios mmm mm! Boyfriend and I prefer to order gluten free when it is available and were thrilled to see it was an option for a pizza crust. No allergies but would prefer when it is an option over wheat or white flour. We ordered gluten free for $4.95 extra... as a margarita pizza. While I appreciate the restaurant's effort to offer a gluten free option... I have to admit.. it is REALLY really bad. Just.Don't.Order.It. Do yourself a favor and go to Sammy's if you want gluten free pizza. We told the waitress how bad the GF pizza was and she took it back and let us order a different pizza. We went with a four cheese regular crust. (dont recall actual name of pizza but I think it was a white pizza and we asked they substitute the white sauce for red pizza sauce with fresh mozzarella and basil). It was good but nothing amazing. I appreciated them getting us another pizza without any hassle. Boyfriend wanted dessert so the waitress brought out mini cannolli which was not officially on the menu. I didn't have any, but he didn't like them, they were too crispy. Then again no cannoli has impressed him since he had one fresh in NY. Will we be back, probably not. It was not worth the money in my opinion.
