  • I called to ask for a value estimate for some scrap gold and the man on the phone said they don't give quotes over the phone. Ok. Understood. Before I drove over, I just wanted to get a ballpark. I'm sure they get asked this question a million times, but I'm new to this, so I asked, "Well, is it around the market..." and got cut off! This guy was such a d1ck. He was really condescending when he said, "A-gain, we don't give estimates over the phone...etc." Before I blasted him for the tone he had with me, I just hung up. How do you expect business when you talk to people like that?
