  • I didn't have a chance to actually get a carwash done at Squeaky Clean Car Wash because of how busy they were (I didn't have time to wait) but I might give them a chance next time I need my car cleaned up. I drove in to see if they could wash the underbody of my Mazda Miata. I'm always hesitant to take it through an automatic car wash because I'm afraid it could damage the soft top. When i asked the girl at the desk if they offer that she was visibly confused at what I was asking for. After I explained that I had oil caked to the underbody of my car from an old oil leak she simply responded, "oh, we don't do that." I found that a bit odd since they advertise an underbody wash. Oh well... As I was leaving I caught a guy who was taking another customer's information just outside the carwash so I decided to ask him the same question. He was very polite and seemed knowledgeable about their services. He said my only option would be to take my car through their automatic washer that sprays the underside of the vehicles. He told me that they have soft top convertibles go through all the time but that he couldn't totally guarantee nothing would happen to mine and that they wouldn't be liable for any damages, which I totally understand. I appreciated his honesty but opted to try and find something else. However, the carwash itself looked nice, the cars that had already been finished looked great and the staff all seemed pleasant to deal with. I will certainly give them a shot the next time one of my cars needs a wash :)
