  • I've stayed in Vegas for 20+ years, so I'm very aware of the resort fees & temporary safety deposit. I've stayed at the Flamingo half a dozen times, even during the remodel. Except this trip I was changed twice $300, totalling over $600 in charges that were more than the room rate, taxes & resort fees combined. Another Dimond Member friend during the same visit in another room was also over charged $400. Thankfully they reversed the charges but it was an additional hassle. To boot our remodeled room. . .first use of the bathroom toilet the handle broke off as I flushed & the shower head broke off during first rinse. Changed rooms but the next room the bathroom was horrible! No fan so the whole guest room turned into a sauna & there was some kind of gross rusted tub plug that floated up during a shower. Blah & super dusty walls. I'll stop there. . .valet another bad experience too. I give 1 more star because Jewel at the front desk was super though. Very kind though my extended stay.
