Opendoor provides a good opportunity for people to walk through homes without going through a realtor, but we faced many issues with this company. We recently bought a house through open door and had issues with the repairs (even after they fixed them). Be careful with the disclosures and what they say they fix. Our inspector still found problems with leaks, roof, and the water heater after opendoor said they fixed them. After they agreed to fix a couple things (days before escrow), we still found at move-in that the water heater still leaked and that they painted over another leak. You also have to remind them about to do things they promised, otherwise the job doesn't get done. They also did not pay their last month's water bill, which ended up being added onto our current bill. I believe they hire cheap contractors that fail to effectively complete repairs OR Opendoor simply doesn't care to fix the issues and just wants the sale. This company has potential to be great for buyers, but this needs to be resolved for future home buyers.
