| - My stay here was great! I figured I should leave a review considering there's so many bad ones on here. I've never been the picky type, but when we entered our room I was essentially blown away with how great it looked. We had a king bed suite on the 3rd floor, and it looked to be recently-ish remodeled with new looking floors and tiles and a walk-in shower (ie no bathtub, just shower). Bed was great, really bouncy with spotless sheets and pillows that I loved (firm, but also squishy pillows). In the living room there was an old box TV, but in the bedroom there was a 32-inch flat screen TV. Both were hooked up to basic cable and worked great. As for the kitchenette part, it came with a large mini fridge that worked great, a microwave that was on the smaller side but worked just as great, and a sink surrounded by countertops. All we needed was to heat up leftovers throughout our stay, so we didn't need to rent kitchen utensils. As for the bathroom, it was pretty large, and the shower water runs HOT. Like, really hot, so watch out. Easily adjusts to a nice temp though.
We checked into the hotel around 5pm after driving from Los Angeles, and the man who checked us in got us our keys and everything we needed in less than 5 minutes which was great. (Just FYI, the hotel will charge for early check ins before 4pm). We also received passes for 2 free drinks ($5 limit each) and a $10 food item to redeem at their bar/restaurant. We stopped by on a Saturday evening, got a couple drinks (one was a little more than $5, but all we had to do was pay the extra), and a full pizza to go. Waitresses were really nice and helpful! Just know that you'll have to pay Nevada state tax plus a service charge if you buy drinks from there.
The continental breakfast from 7am-10am is what you would expect, plus a waffle maker which was pretty cool, and breakfast is hosted in a nice dining room with a TV.
Other than that, it was a nice, straightforward stay for a weekend in Vegas. It ain't no Mandalay Bay room, but for the price I think it was great! Might come back again next time we decide to go to Vegas on a budget :)
