So Swanky and nicely light... I came here for my girlfriend's work Christmas party and so while all the hor'doervers (snacky french things) were free as was the beer, I will still try to give Jazz Bistro a rating.
Ambiance: 3/5 While not my usual cup of tea ( think more Guinness and Irish people), this place was quite nice, with piano music playing and alot of space for the myriad academic shmoozing,
Food 2.7/5: The little coconut shrimps were good, but the meat ball and tomoate skewers were hard to eat and the little rice paper veggie wraps were very oddly spiced.
Music 3.5/5: Even though this isn't my kind of music, it was nice to see a working Jazz musician paid to perform.
I would go back for a pint and an appetizer just to see if they do better food for paying customers.
