I went to Steakenburger on Saturday about 6:45 pm to try their burgers for the first time, only to be told they just weren't serving burgers. I will probably never return!
4/4/13 I called on Tue & talked to the lady that answered the phone-asked for owner or mgr-she said she was the mgr. I explained to her that I had brought my wife, daughter & son-in-law in for first time for steakenburger & was told they just weren't serving burgers that night. She apologized for that explanation & that there was a problem with their vendor. She told me she would talk to her boss & call or email me & take care of me for the poor service.
On Thur, after not being contacted, I called again & talked to Judy. I told her the same experience. She said the meat supplier had sent bad meat & they couldn't serve it. Said she was sorry, but did not offer to take care of me & hoped that I would come back again. I told her after this experience, she would never see me in her restaurant again. I guess she doesn't realize there are other steak burger restaurants in town & that it is customer service that gets people to come to your restaurant. I live at least 15 miles away & passed at least 3 steak burger places on my way to Steakenburger. I ended up at Freddies on Bell Rd that night. The food was very good & the service was great-I will return there!
They have my phone # and email address. We'll see if they respond to me in the future!
