Mesa Grill is tight, but it seemed to disappoint. Bad Boi Bobby Flay owns this restaurant and has stuffed the menu with a little bit of everything. Whenever you eat TEX-MEX you expect a specific culmination of spices. The bread was top-notch, and the appetizers arrived in extremely small portions. Granted the flavor was decent, I wasn't completely satisfied. After starving all day at a convention in the local expo I needed all the food I could get. A famished stomach and some tequila on the rocks had me cleaning the plate of my coffee crusted filet (a style that has become very popular in recent years) at an alarming speed. I don't know if I'll come back to Mesa considering the plethora of Las Vegas restaurants that I have yet to try, but I may just have to stop in there if I get hot at the Caesar's blackjack table again.
Side note: our server was a wizard with his little crumb collector instrument that he periodically used to clean off the table cloth. I was rather impressed by his diligent work.
