I had high hopes but the food fell short. The ambiance was really nice and romantic and the service was excellent with just the right level of attentiveness and well-paced courses. The food was lacking, however. A medium rare filet came out verging on well done. The recook was rare. A restaurant of this supposed caliber should have no problem with something as elementary as cooking a steak to the proper temperature. Outback "Steakhouse" can do this.
Regardless of the issues with temperature, the food was fairly lackluster. The charcuterie slate was nothing more than grocery store level prosciutto and the food was generally underseasoned. For a $200 dinner, the meal should have been exceptional. It wasn't even close.
