How can I be a regular at this joint but only give it 3 stars?
Let me tell you.
Their prices are CHEAP. Their Chinese food is on point with a huge selection. The workers are very sweet. They prescooped the ice cream and organized them so it's very easy to grab and go. Plus, they have a pay-per-pound takeout option, so if you have a small appetite and don't want buffet but still want Chinese food, you can still pile up whatever you want! (But you pay a little extra if you get seafood items, so be smart about this.) Their dessert options are so-so.
However. The bathrooms are GROSS. The place isn't the nicest looking. Kinda grimy overall. Hence the three stars.
Don't get me wrong, I still frequent this place often. I'm not really deterred by how shabby the venue looks, as long as the food is good and cheap.
If you want a nicer looking and cleaner (but pricier) Chinese buffet, check out Hong Kong Gourmet. Of course, if you DGAF and only care about the food and cost, DEFINITELY GO HERE.
Haven't tried their hotpot all-you-can-eat yet though, but I plan to.
