  • As much as I love having a new puppy, I'm not as big a fan of the stains and fur that can come with one. Luckily, I found Sir Carpet. A good friend of mine used them once before and told me they were great for animal fur and accidents, so I figured I'd give them a try. Oh, how glad I am that I did! They were knowledgable and helpful, and I ended up scheduling an appointment for a few days later. They arrived on time, which was greatly impressive, and went right to work. The cleaners were really professional and efficient. I was home with my puppy (Stella), and they didn't seem bothered by that - they said "hi" to Stella, of course, but didn't waste any time petting/playing with her. That's good, because I know puppies can be distracting to some workers. I had them clean my carpet, upholstery, and air ducts, since those were the areas of my home Stella most affected. I'd had my carpets for years, and I have to say, they looked as good as new once Sir Carpet was done! I don't know what kind of cleaning fluid they put in those vacuums (attached to their trucks, believe it or not - really heavy duty stuff), but it works! They cleaned all 4 rooms in just a few hours, and moved all the furniture back where it was (with some help from me to make sure it was all correct). Then they cleaned the couches and the chairs that have padding in my living room, cleaning out all the dog hair I couldn't get out myself. They even got a bad stain out of one of the couch cushions. The last thing they did was clean the air ducts - I was surprised by just how much dust and dog hair was in there, clogging everything up. I've actually been breathing a bit easier since they came. I had a great experience with the Sir Carpet cleaning service, and will definitely be calling them back soon once Stella manages to dirty the place up again. I'll probably also be using their other services that I didn't need at the time, such as tile, car, and dryer cleaning.
