Mount Everest is true test of man vs nature. Where so many have failed to conquer quality South Asian/ Indian cuisine at such a beautiful lunch price of $10.99 there really is no other comparison. If you find yourself on this side of town and don't feel like waiting at the oyster bar, venture here.
Setting: It's in the Mariana grocery store plaza but the restaurant itself looks like it used to be a taco bell. The employees park their cars where the drive thru used to be lmao. Inside of the place is a standard with booths around and tables in the center.
Service: The gentlemen here are very friendly and attentive. Usually they make their rounds often so you never come back to your table with your previously used dish still waiting there for you.
Food: I probably have the tastebuds for nepalese/indian food as the next american that thinks panda is good but I love this place. I'm sure there's a place somewhere that has more authentic food but hey this place is just so darn tasty! The tikka masala has so much herbs and flavors while the goat curry meat is so tender. The red tandoori chicken is also good but you have to poke at it with the tongs to look for the juicy morsels.
Overall: Compared to several other indian buffets in Vegas, I will always drive out of my way to eat here.
