| - I became familiar with HDD when I fostered a dog they were hosting. First, I think it's incredible that they participate in foster programs. At any given time, they probably have 2-5 foster dogs staying there in a separate room together, which gives them a safe place to play and makes people aware that they are available for adoption. Love it.
While I was fostering, I was given a full tour of the facility. It's huge, new, clean, and well-equipped. I used to drop in on HDD at random times, and every time I went in, it was clean, smelled good, and everyone was playing nicely. I have met all the girls who run the daycare and they are all so sweet and fun to talk to. It is obvious that they love dogs. I feel completely confident in them.
I now bring my adopted pup in once or twice per week. He loves it and he comes home totally exhausted from his full day of playing. On a sidenote, my dog only eats grain-free and organic food - and guess what HDD has on hand for feeding? Only all-natural, grain-free dry dog food. Win! Now I don't have to worry about packing my dog a lunch (I swear, it sounds like I'm talking about toddlers here).
I should also mention that their prices are super reasonable. I have my pup's toenails clipped for $6. A full day of daycare is only $25 (it goes down if you buy in packages). I just bought a smaller package that brings the cost down to $20 for a full day. They also offer extended pick-up and drop-off times at no additional fee.
My only tiny issue is that my dog is in the small dog room, and that room's camera is in a weird position. The small dogs hang out in the corner by the gate a lot, so you can't see them. If that camera was tweaked to the right a little bit, it would make it a lot easier for me to stalk my dog.
