| - New property. Modern, clean layout that's not really hip, but polite and approachable for those with more traditional tastes. Great accouterments, like heated floors in the bathrooms, separate water closet, in-the-mirror (thus hidden until turned on) bathroom TV. Friendly and extremely helpful front desk staff. Solid location in central Toronto with nice views of Lake Ontario and the CN Tower.
Too bad their common area Wi-Fi was one the weakest, slowest and most unreliable I've ever experienced. Shockingly disappointing considering this chain's emphasis on total delight of the customer. Their room Wi-Fi was better, but not as good as some lower end properties I've stayed at before. Also their Concierge didn't LISTEN to my request about a restaurant. Although minor, I asked for inexpensive and all she did was refer me to their in house restaurant which looked delightful, with locally sourced (within 50 miles ) food items but pricy. Not what I asked for by a mile. The catering food for my meeting was well below average.
Very expensive, and you get the frou-frou property name... but honestly, I'd enjoy the Hilton down the street just as well.
