  • We asked Mike to give us a backyard filled with succulent gardens. After he finished it looked beautiful and we were very pleased. However, within a week, all the plants were dead. We called him and finally he agreed to come replace them. Again, they died within a week. I took pictures and went to Star Nursery to ask them for advice. The nursery was shocked that he had planted succulents in the places he did with the kind of drips he used. After talking to the nursery, we took out all the succulents and replaced them with cacti. The cacti are doing better. However, we also learned that Mike used the wrong kind of soil for cacti/succulents. He used a poor draining heavy soil that is now causing root rot. He seems to have no knowledge of cacti/succulents. We also learned that he never hooked the drip line to the control box and he never provided us with a couple other services that we were quoted for. Every couple of months we find a new issue and after doing some research we find out it is a result of Mike cutting corners and not knowing what he was doing (or laziness). We've spent hundreds of dollars fixing what should have been done correctly the first time.
