| - (11/11/2014) Great little place, right in the Strip District. Nice people making great small batch whiskey. Plenty to taste, def try a "Whim," there's a reason they call them that. It's a little bit of whatever strikes their fancy, fruit, florals, herbs. The Wayward had the essence of fresh apple with a floral and firewood scent. The Deep Cut was referred to as the "high octane," a touch too stiff for me, had the cresol-like aroma I associate with Scotch (and Band-Aids), but without the smokey/peatiness. Smoothest was the Organic Rye great for sipping.
You can try their products in cocktails or a flight or just a drop. Tours only on Saturdays (we were disappointed to be there on the wrong day). We didn't get much of a spiel, while I appreciated the light sale, I could have used a little more education. Hard to see from the street, but keep looking around the corner towards the garage bays.
