  • Despite hearing an astounding number of negative reviews about this dealership, my wife and I decided to take a chance and visited last week to see one of the used vehicles they had on the lot. Our first encounter with Matt, a new sales person, was pleasant. He got us in front of Scott Ryan, the Pre-Owned Sales Manager that we had emailed about the car. Scott was immediately awful. He showed no recognition when we explained who we were, quickly passed us off to Matt, and had someone bring around the 528 we were there to drive. (The vehicle was previously a loaner vehicle, yet all of the badging had been removed. It seems very odd from a Marketing perspective that you would allow a loaner vehicle to be on the road with no badging whatsoever.) Luckily, Matt was able to test drive with us and explained the features the best that he could. When we got back to the dealership, we waited around for Scott to answer some of our outstanding questions, and to provide the trade-in value for my current Mercedes. Ten minutes went by and we still hadn't heard from Scott. He had our email address, but we left our phone number so that Scott could easily get in touch with us. We called the following day, and didn't connect with him. It's been four days and we still have not heard from Scott... I may not be purchasing a brand new, top of the line BMW, but I was still ready to spend $45,000 on a car. Clearly, the commission Scott would make was not worth it to him as he made zero attempt to close the sale. We didn't want to let others' opinions sway our decision to work with Sewickley BMW, yet we were seriously underwhelmed with their service, their willingness and ability to make a customer feel valued; unfortunately their reputation in the community was spot on. We will never attempt to work with this dealership again, and to be honest, they have tarnished our opinion of BMW as a whole. Disgusted with the experience we had, we went to Bobby Rahal and purchased a new vehicle. How can BMW allow a dealership to represent your brand in such an atrocious way?
