  • I went to Lux after purchasing a Groupon and was very disappointing all around. Getting an appointment was the first hurdle- I was told that they were booked up for over a month. I called back a couple weeks later and suddenly there were appointments available, so I finally was able to get it. The salon itself looks dingy and a bit dirty- finger prints on the mirrored walls...it didn't look well cared for. The mani/pedi itself also was very bad. The woman cut my cuticles and I've had two minor infections in my fingers since from where she cut too deep. Additionally, the polish job she did was horrible- I can see the edges of the second coat on top of the first (she only did a thin line of second coat down the middle). It looks horrible. Definitely avoid this place. There are so many places in the area that are MUCH better and the same price!
