  • If I could put no stars I would. Highly disappointed in the moral of this place. My elderly mom that is legally blind went here with her friend. My mom wanted a recliner for my dads bday. They are both elderly and very weak. The salesman went around the store with her and she tried different recliners, what she didn't realize was because she's so weak he was "helping" her close them. This store sold my mom a floor model recliner for $600. They talked her into their 90 day same as cash financing even though she had the full amount available to pay. Delivery day! My parents sit in the recliner, recline it and neither of my parents can close it. It's stuck open in the middle of their tiny senior apartment and my dad hates it. I call the store to tell them the situation and ask about returning it less than 24 hours after it was delivered. Their response "Sorry since she did financing we don't offer returns or exchanges". Told me to read the terms and conditions that she signed. Remember she's legally blind the print on their terms was literally microscopic about 6 point font and about halfway down the page not bold or underlined or obvious at all it says their credit policy. They knew she was legally blind no one went over or read the policies to her. I then went into the store in person that afternoon to again explain that what they did was took advantage of an old elderly blind lady and that they should make this right. They offered her a power recliner for an additional $200 plus another $75 delivery fee. The other option was to call the credit company maybe they would come get it. I was angry and disappointed. They were not getting another dime and definitely not almost 1k from a low income elderly person for 1 recliner. Are you kidding me? Went home to call the credit company that is somewhere back east only to sit on hold for an hour and be disconnected. Did this twice. Called the store back and told them this is beyond unacceptable. They didn't care, they had their money and that's all that mattered. Long story short if I finally got ahold of the credit company that explained the store is paid out almost immediately and that is why they weren't helpful. The credit company put the recliner in recovery and it sat at my parents house for 2 months. Someone finally came and picked it up recently. Worst experience ever!!!! Terrible customer service, no morals and taking advantage of elderly. Furniture fashions you should be ashamed of yourselves. Anything for a dollar is not how you should run a company. You guys are crooks. Hope that $500 was worth it.
