I had a bad fall, unfortunately my PCP was out of town so due to the high rating and reviews I decided to go to MedPost Urgent Care. I scheduled an online check-in explaining exactly why I needed to be seen and giving all my information (contact and insurance information); however, when I tried to check in at the front desk I was told "Oh the practitioner (Kim, PA per the sign in the office as the practitioner on duty) is saying you need to go to the ER". When I told the receptionist (who was not polite at all) that it really didn't make sense I was told "Well she can triage you but she'll probably refer you to the ER".
First of all I had bad bruising and knots around my my tailbone, sounds like they could have done an X-Ray (one of the services they provide per the website) and advised what treatment I can do at home. Secondly they had all my contact information so it would have been professional not to mention courteous to contact me and advise me the Kim, PA had no intentions of seeing me before I wasted my time.
The attitude I received tells me Kim, PA is only interested in treating people she can herd in and out the door. Would not advise anyone to go here for anything.
