We just finished our stay here. Our family stayed for 2 nights and we were in town for the rock and roll marathon.
We brought our two kids with us even though they did not participate in the marathon. Our plans included swimming since the Rio web site stated that they had pools and the times and days of the week were noted too.
With my kids in tow we head to the pool only to find it was "closed for the season". WHAT! I was so upset and so were the kids. After that my husband took the kids upstairs, I stayed back to speak with the front desk and was remanded to the manager.
All I got was an apology and late check out.
-The buffet was okay, I'm a picky eater, but the fam seemed to like it.
-No pool!
-Room size were a nice size with a seating area and nice floor to ceiling windows.
-beds were not comfortable.
-many toiletries.
All in all I give it their average right 3. Maybe we'll be back , but advertising something that is not available is not cool and resort fee is for gym, wifi, free phone calls. That's vogus
