| - I grew up in Brentwood, and I remember when this restaurant first opened up. I've been a customer since they first opened and I've enjoyed coming here. When I would get take out, the food was always nice and hot, and was still hot when I got home. The customer service has not disappointed me either. When I give a tip in their jar, the cashier does seem genuinely appreciative. Now the most important thing: the food. The only thing I got there that I wasn't crazy about was their mu shu. The sauce was a bit overpowering for my liking. That being said, everything else I have ever had from Wang's was excellent. I love trying new foods, so the other day I said I was going to try something that I never had before. I went with their sha cha beef and thought it was fantastic--the vegetables tasted fresh and the sauce complimented everything well. My go-to choices for Chinese restaurants are crab rangoon and roasted pork egg foo young. The crab rangoon is made just right and crispy and the egg foo young comes with a delicious, thick gravy that is made the way I like it (I don't like when Chinese restaurants serve egg foo young with the thinner, darker gravy. This is the thicker, brown gravy). A final miscellaneous observation: the old location near Burger King was not exactly the cleanest, however, the new one near the police station seems much cleaner. All in all, I'd recommend Wang's to anyone who likes your standard Chinese take-out. I moved out of Brentwood, but any time I am there, I like to stop at Wang's. Reasonably priced and good quality food served in just-right portion sizes.
